Syracuse Mets (11-33)

The Syracuse Mets losing streak extended to 15 games after getting swept in the Doubleheader to the Bisons.

Game one:

Syracuse lost game one 8-5, after the Bisons broke the tie with a 6 run sixth. Khalil Lee hit his second homerun of the year in a 2 for 3 day, with a walk, RBI and three run scored. Orlando Calixte drove in two in a 2 for 4 game.

Brandon Nimmo went 1 for 3, playing all 7 innings of game one in center field.

Thomas Szapucki got the start allowing 4 runs (3 earned) over 5 innings of work. Szapucki allowed 5 hits and 3 walks, while striking out 4. His ERA stands at 4.41.

Former Met Dilson Herrera took Trey Cobb deep for a 2 run homerun in the sixth.

Game two:

The Syracuse Mets lost game two 5-4. Drew Jackson went 2 for 2 with 2 RBIs and 2 walks and 2 doubles. Wilfredo Tovar hit his first homer of the year, going 2 for 3.

Vance Worley had his first outing since returning to the Mets organization, going 4.2 innings, allowing 5 runs (3 earned) on 7 hits. He walked 4 and struck out 5.

Binghamton Rumble Ponies (13-30)

The Rumble Ponies lost a nail-biter 10-9 in a 11 inning game. Mark Vientos had a huge game with two more homeruns.

Vientos went 2 for 4 with 4 RBIs in the loss. His OPS stands at .880 now after a dreadful May. He has hit 5 homeruns in his last 4 games.

Will Toffey also homered in the loss, going 2 for 5. Nick Senger drove in two in a two hit game.

Adam Oller got the start allowing 5 runs (4 earned) in 5 innings. Robinson pitched well over 2.1 innings, leaving the ghost runner on base in the 10th, but couldn’t do that in the 11th.

Brooklyn Cyclones (14-28)

The Cyclones got shutout on 2 hits by the BlueClaws 3-0. Baty and Uriarte both doubled in the loss.

Jose Butto got the loss allowing 3 runs (1 earned) over 4.2 innings of work. Conner O’Neil pitched 3 scoreless innings after Butto.

St. Lucie Mets (23-21)

The St. Lucie Mets finished a suspended game from the day before and lost 12-11. The game resumed in the sixth with a 10-10 tie.

The St. Lucie Mets scored a go ahead run in the bottom of the sixth, but allowed two in the seventh for the loss.

Game two:

They lost the normal scheduled game 16-7 against the Dunedin Blue Jays.

St. Lucie got two hit games from Fryman, Peroza, Palmer, Titus and Adon. Palmer and Gaddis drove in two.

Junior Santos got the loss allowing 7 runs over 2.2 innings of work.
