Syracuse Mets (8-17)
The Syracuse Mets lost on a walk off from Bradley Roney. The Bisons beat the Syracuse Mets 3-2.
Patrick Mazeika made his AAA debut, going 2 for 4 with a RBI. Martin Cervenka went 3 for 3 and Drew Jackson collected 2 hits.
Jesus Reyes had his best start of the year, going 6 innings of 2 run (1 earned) ball.
Binghamton Rumble Ponies (5-19)
Binghamton collected just their 5th win, after beating the Fisher Cats 6-4.
Manny Rodriguez went 2 for 4 with 2 runs batted in. The Rumble Ponies collected just 3 RBI’s out of their 6 total runs.
Tony Dibrell pitched well over 6 innings of work. Dibrell allowed 3 runs (2 earned) on 4 hits with 2 walks. His ERA now stands at 3.24.
Yeizo Campos pitched 2 hitless innings in relief to help the Rumble Ponies to the victory.
Brooklyn Cyclones (8-14)
The Cyclones beat the BlueClaws 11-5 behind their power bats. Brett Baty collected 3 hits, including his first homerun of the year. Baty drove in three and is now hitting .343 with a .929 OPS
Francisco Alvarez clobbered one to dead center for a 2 run homer of his own. Joe Genord and Adrian Hernandez also homered for the Cyclones.
Jose Butto pitched well in his second straight strong outing, allowing 3 runs in 5.1 innings. Butto allowed just 3 hits, striking out 5. Colby Morris struck out 4 in 1.2 innings in relief.
St. Lucie Mets (16-9)
The St. Lucie Mets got shutout by the Mighty Mussels 1-0.
The St. Lucie Mets collected just 2 hits, both from Joe Suozzi.
Oscar Rojas had his best outing of the year going 5 scoreless innings. He allowed just 2 hits and 2 walks, with 4 strikeouts.
Matt Cleveland kept his scoreless streak going with a scoreless eight.
