Chicago White Sox traded for Rangers starter Lance Lynn for Dane Dunning and prospect Avery Weems. White Sox just bolstered their rotation with a big arm. Rangers get a talented young starter in their rebuild phase for a starter who has one year control left. Understandable move for the White sox, but I love what the Rangers got.

Los Angeles Angels traded for Reds closer Raisel Iglesias and cash. In return they send Noe Ramirez and future considerations to the Reds. I love this move for the Angels, not so much for the Reds who lose a big piece of their pen. The Angels add a true closer they have lacked for years.

Former Minnesota Twin and Atlanta Brave pitcher Matt Wisler has agreed to a one year deal with the San Francisco Giants that’s worth $1.15M.

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
