Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic has revealed that the mystery candidate for the New York Mets managerial position is Milwaukee Brewers bench coach Pat Murphy, according to Rosenthal’s sources.

It’s also been reported that Murphy has had multiple interviews with management. Murphy was the interim manager for the San Diego Padres in 2015 before joining the Milwaukee Brewers coaching staff.
