After fielding a double in left field, Mickey Callaway and the Mets trainer went out to left field to check on McNeil after clutching at his leg. Callaway would remove McNeil from the game and replace him with Aaron Altherr.

The injury is being called a cramp and McNeil is said to be in “good spirits” inside of the Mets clubhouse.
