The last couple months of this season will consist of a lot of scouting and prospect watching, as the new players of the organization look to settle in.

One player we’ll be keeping a close eye on will undoubtedly be LuisAngel Acuna, younger brother to Atlanta Braves superstar, Ronald Acuna Jr.

Of course, Acuna came to the Mets organization in the trade for Max Scherzer with the Texas Rangers.

Since joining the organization, Acuna has reported to the Mets Double A affiliate, the Binghamton Rumble Ponies.

This year in Double A, Acuna is slashing .312/.373/.448/.821 with 7 home runs, 51 RBI’s, as well as an impressive 42 stolen bases.

Expect the young phenom to make his Major League debut next year, some time during the 2024 campaign.
