After taking the first game on Monday night, the Mets look to continue their winning streak, pushing it to six consecutive games.
The Mets will have Tylor Megill on the bump against veteran lefty Clayton Kershaw.
Kershaw is having just about an average season, so far. He owns a 2-1 win/loss record to go alongside a 3.50 ERA, while striking out 17 in 18 innings pitched.
Tylor Megill on the other hand possesses a 3-0 record with a 2.25 ERA, striking out 13 in 16 innings pitched.
Eduardo Escobar will get the start at third base, this comes 24 hours after Brett Baty made his season debut. It looks like the plan is to have Escobar face LHP, in order for him to keep from getting too stiff and potentially injured.
Look for Pete Alonso to stay hot against Kershaw. It’s a good opportunity to place a prop bet, if that’s your thing.
