Brooklyn Cyclones (12-26)

The Cyclones lost on a walk off 9-8 to the Blue Rocks, despite a Luke Ritter Grand Slam.

Top prospect Francisco Alvarez went 2 for 3 with a double, 2 RBI’s, 2 Walks and a run scored. Mauricio and Baty also collected hits.

David Griffin allowed 7 runs (4 earned) over 3.2 innings in his first outing. Andrew Edwards got the loss in the ninth.

St. Lucie Mets (22-19)

St. Lucie beat the Hammerheads 8-5. Alex Ramirez collected a three hit game, including his first triple.

Matt Dyer was the big man going 3 for 3 with 2 homeruns and 4 RBIs in the win.

Franklyn Parra was terrific over 5.2 innings of 2 run (1 earned) ball. Dellin Betances pitched a scoreless inning in rehab, allowing 2 hits with 2 strikeouts. Reyson Santos collected his 4th save.
