The Mets got some more bad injury news today as it was announced that Noah Syndergaard will be shut down for six weeks after right elbow inflammation. The earliest the righty can return is August.
With that being said, it’s possible that Noah Syndergaard has pitched for the Mets for the last time. The tall righty is a free agent after this season.
Over 5 seasons with the Mets, Syndergaard is 47-30 with a 3.31 ERA. He was great for the Mets in the postseason with a 2.42 ERA. He got the win in the only World Series win in 2015 and was terrific in the 2016 Wild Card game.
