Syracuse Mets (2-10)

Syracuse struggles continues after a 7-4 loss to the Worcester Red Sox. Jesus Reyes allowed 5 runs in the second, highlighted by a Enrique (Kikè) Hernandez Grand Slam in his rehab assignment. Oscar de la Cruz rebounded with 1.1 scoreless innings.

Big man on the offensive side was Wilfredo Tovar, who went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI’s.

Binghamton Rumble Ponies (1-10)

The Rumble Ponies are finally in the win column after a 7-3 victory over the Curve.

Tyler Megill kept his impressive start of the year going with 6 innings of one run ball. Megill struck out 5 and walked none. His ERA now stands at 1.13 after three starts.

Will Toffey and Yoel Romero collected two hits, Jeremy Vasquez homered and Walter Lagrange drove in two to provide most of the offense.

Brooklyn Cyclones (4-7)

The Cyclones came back with 3 in the ninth after a Mauricio game tying, 2 out, three run homerun in the top of the ninth, but couldn’t hold the tie in the bottom of the inning, to lose in walk off fashion 10-9.

Overall Mauricio collected three hits and is now hitting .341 with a 1118 OPS. Duplantis scored 4 runs after collecting 4 hits. Baty drove in two and Ritter hit a 3 run homerun in the loss.

Josh Walker allowed 4 runs in 5 innings of work. Otanez and Orze struggled in their outings.

St. Lucie Mets (8-4)

The St. Lucie Mets beat the Tortugas 2-1 behind a strong start from Cam Opp. Opp went 5 scoreless innings, lowering his ERA to 0.79. Luis Moreno got the four inning save, allowing just a run, striking out 6.

Tanner Murphy hit a 2 run homerun, accounting for the only runs. Alvarez and Newton went hitless.
