The Mets got swept by the Rays after a 7-1 loss on Sunday afternoon. Bigger news is the loss of Jeff McNeil and Michael Conforto, who both left the game due to hamstring issues.

The Mets got just 2 hits, one of the two was Patrick Mazeika first MLB hit and homerun.

On the pitching side, Marcus Stroman struggled allowing 3 homeruns, resulting in 5 runs. His ERA dropped to 2.72 on the season. Diaz allowed two runs in the eight, after not being in a game for a week.

The injured Mets will start a series against the Braves tomorrow with Taijuan Walker getting the start.
