The Mets will host the Washington Nationals on Thursday afternoon at Clover Park in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Marcus Stroman will take the hill for the fourth time this spring for our boys in Orange & Blue, as they square up against Juan Soto and the Nationals.

Stroman has so far pitched 8.1 innings to a 3.24 ERA and a 1.08 WHIP while having struck out eight batters. After opting out of the 2020 season due to COVID concerns, the right-hander did own a impressive 3.22 ERA during the 2019 campaign.

Jon Lester will make his debut for the Washington Nationals after signing with the club for one year.
