The Mets will host the Cardinals on Tuesday at Clover Park in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Going to the bump for the Cardinals will be right-hander Carlos Martinez.

The Dominican born pitcher is making his second appearance of the spring, so far. However, he hasn’t really yielded any great results… not that it matters.

Martinez owns a 32.40 ERA and 4.20 WHIP so far this spring, and has yet to strike anyone out in his 1.2 innings pitched.

Number 99, Taijuan Walker will be making his Mets debut. Walker joins the team after signing a two year contract worth $20M with an option for a third year.

First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 P.M. EST and will be televised on SNY.
