The Mets will head over to West Palm Beach to take on Juan Soto and the Washington Nationals. The Nationals plan to send Joe Ross to mound, making his fourth appearance of the spring.
In 7.1 innings pitched, Ross owns a 2.45 ERA while also having struck out just three batters.
Jordan Yamamoto will make his second appearance of the spring as he owns a 0.00 ERA, while striking out one in 2 innings pitched.
Yamamoto does however have a 6.20 ERA in 90 career innings, so he does need some figuring out to do. While he likely won’t have a spot in the starting five, he’s a great depth piece to have.
First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 PM EST, however the game will not be televised.
