Yesterday Jon Heyman tweeted about Trevor Bauer his asking price and it was fairly high. According to Heyman Bauer is seeking for a 4-5 year deal worth around 36-40 mil per year.

There is no denying that Bauer is a very good pitcher. Over the last three years he pitched to a 3.18 ERA, with 2020 as his best season. Bauer beat Darvish and deGrom, for the CY Young with a 1.73 ERA over 73 innings.

However, if this what he wants, he should hope a team is desperate and it shouldn’t be the Mets. Other options available for way less money.
