The Braves added their new one year deal starter (like they seem to do every season). Charlie Morton has agreed to an one year 15m dollar contract. Fairly steep price, but I price I would have paid for his services.

Worth mentioning is that Atlanta is closer to his home than NY, which is something Morton really wanted. I would have liked Morton in the Mets rotation, as he was my prime target. Unfortunately a rival acquired him to bolster their staff.

I liked Morton, but the Mets will get other good players. Braves rotation will be a force to be reckoned with and our main rival.
