The Washington Nationals and the New York Mets ended up splitting the series with the Mets finishing off the last two games strong and with style. Our boys in Orange and Blue will now head down to Philadelphia to take the Phillies on in a three-game series.

The Mets will send the reigning Cy Young award winner to the hill in Jacob deGrom. While the Florida native ended up dealing with a minor blister his last time out, he was still able to dish out five innings of two-run ball.

So far this season, deGrom owns a 2.45 ERA with a win/loss record of 2-0 and has struck out 28 batters in just 22 innings pitched.

Tonight’s game is scheduled for 7:05 P.M. EST at Citizens Bank Park and will be airing on SNY television.

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
