New York Mets GM Brodie Van Wagenen told the media today that one player on the 40-Man roster tested positive for COVID-19 and currently “is recovering”, he added that the team is fortunate.

“We trust them. They trust us. We trust each other,” Brodie Van Wagenen said of Mets players

Van Wagenen also told the media that he doesn’t expect anybody on the roster to opt out of the 2020 season and that everyone should be ready to report to camp on the first of July.
