The New York Mets and Luis Rojas are working out a multi-year deal that would promote Rojas as the Mets manager. The rest of the coaching staff will remain the same.

Rojas is the son of Hall of Fame manager Felipe Alou and of course is the brother of former Met outfielder Moises Alou.
