Former San Francisco Giants and New York Mets second baseman Joe Panik has agreed to a deal with the Toronto Blue Jays. The deal is a Minor League contract and will likely be invited to Spring Training.

While the Yonkers, New York native publicly stated that he’d like to remain in New York, it’s evident that the Mets don’t have much room within the 26-man roster.
