After picking up his 12th loss of the 2019 season, New York Mets starting pitcher Marcus Stroman has a 4.91 ERA in his five starts since joining the Orange & Blue. Stroman gave up four earned runs and six hits in six innings pitched.

After the game he told reporters “It’s a small sample, that’s all it is. I know who I am as a pitcher.”

However, he has admitted that he needs “to be better”.

Overall, Stroman now has a 3.29 ERA with a 7-12 record.
