A right-hander from Dallas, Texas, the 26-year old has a career 4.63 ERA in 23 games. He’s struck out 25 batters in 23.1 innings pitched.

In order to make room for the reliever, the Mets moved José Quintana to the 60-Day IL. Not very promising, however, this’ll hopefully call for a fresh Quintana a couple of months.
