Mets Make Serious Offer to Mad Max

According to Andy Martino, the Mets have an offer on the table to sign Max Scherzer. Martino reported that the AVV is over 40 million. Length isn’t known.

It’s no secret that Max Scherzer is the prime free agent avaliable this offseason after jet another strong year. Scherzer finished 3rd in the NL CY Young vote after pitching to a 15-4 record with a 2.46 ERA. The future Hall Of Famer had a MLB Low 0.86WHIP, with a 11.8 K/9.

The 8th time all star and 3 time CY Young Award winner will join Jacob deGrom in the best 1-2 punch ever.

There isn’t much negative to say about Max Scherzer. He is durable, misses bats, competitive mind and great controll.

I never expected Max to sign with the Mets but seems like it’s a real possibility now. The next 48 will be very very interesting.
