Mets Make Their First Offseason Move, Signing Nate Fisher

The Mets signed Left Handed Pitcher Nate Fisher to minor league deal. Fisher has a solid season in his return to pro ball after he was cut in the Covid season.

Fisher (25), pitched to a 2.89 ERA over 37.1 innings of work, pitching at four different levels with the Mariners. He pitched to a 0.96WHIP with a 11.3 K/9 percentage.

During the year the lefty allowed just one extra base hit to lefties in 28 at bats (Via Michael Mayer)

Over his 2 minor league seasons (2019&2021), he pitched to a 3.53 ERA over 79 innings. He will likely pitch in AAA, as depth for the major league ball club.
