Syracuse Mets (15-38)

The Syracuse Mets lost to the Railriders 8-3. Wilfredo Tovar and Cheslor Cuthbert both homered. J.D. Davis walks in all three of his at bats.

Thomas Szapucki made his return for Syracuse with 4 innings of 3 run ball. All three runs were unearned. Szapucki walked 4 and struck out 2. Marcel Renteria allowed 5 runs, while getting just 2 outs.

Binghamton Rumble Ponies (19-34)

The Ponies won a close one against the Fisher Cats 3-2. Jake Mangum went 2 for 4 with a double and RBI. Nick Meyer also drove in a run.

Dustin Beggs, who just signed a MiLB deal on June 30th, pitched well over 4.1 innings of one run ball. Eric Orze was solid, going 2.1 innings of one run ball. He allowed just 2 hits (one homerun), while striking out 3. Riley Gilliam got the 2 inning save.

Brooklyn Cyclones (18-35)

The Cyclones lost 9-7 to the Renegades, besides homeruns from Alvarez, Baty and Ritter.

Jaison Vilera struggles to keep the ball in the yard continued. He allowed 5 runs over 4 innings. The righty has allowed 17 homeruns in 41.1 innings.

Both Montes de Oca and Ragan struggled in their outings. Montes the Oca got the loss.

St. Lucie Mets (29-26)

The St. Lucie Mets beat the Mighty Mussels 8-6. Jose Peroza and Brandon McIlwain drove in two. Jose Peroza and Jaylen Palmer both collected two hits.

Luis Moreno got the start, allowing 4 runs over 5 innings of work. He walked 4 and struck out 8. Luis Montas got his second save.
