MetsJunkies MiLB Recap: Baty and Alvarez go Back-to-Back

Syracuse Mets (12-34)

The Syracuse Mets lost to the Bisons 5-3 in Robert Stock Organizational debut. Stock went 6 innings of 2 run ball in his first start for Syracuse. Nogosek had a bounce back outing, with 2 scoreless innings. Yennsy Diaz struggled for the loss as he allowed 3 runs in the tenth.

Brandon Nimmo went 1 for 4. Khalil Lee and Ceasar Puello collected two hits.

Binghamton Rumble Ponies (14-31)

The Ponies clobbered the Fightin Phils 13-6. Binghamton collected 14 hits. Carlos Cortes went 3 for 5 with 2 doubles and 4 runs batted in. Jake Mangum homered in a 3 for 6 day, driving in three.

Oscar de la Cruz was solid over 4 innings of two run ball. Campos got the win but struggled doing so. Andrew Mitchell closed out the Ponies victory.

Brooklyn Cyclones (16-28)

The Cyclones beat the BlueClaws after 4 runs in the eight, highlighted by Alvarez and Baty back to back homeruns. It was Baty his first pro game in the outfield.

Joe Genord drove in two in the Cyclones 8-5 victory. Mauricio made a sparkling play in the field.

Connor Grey was solid over 5 innings of 2 run ball. He allowed just three hits and a walk, while striking out 6. Michel Otanez was electric, striking out 5 in 2.1 innings of one run ball.

St. Lucie Mets (25-22)

The St. Lucie Mets lost to Dunedin 7-5. Brandon McIlwain homered in a 2 hit/2 RBI day. Suozzi, Saunders and Peroza collected 2 hits.

JT Ginn allowed 3 runs over 5 innings of work. His ERA now stands at an even 3.
