The Mets are promoting OF Mason Williams. Williams isn’t on the 40 man roster, so the Mets need to make room on both the 40 and 26 man rosters.

Williams has been great in AAA Syracuse, hitting .373 with a 1026 OPS. The 26 year old is a career .280 hitter with a .723 OPS in the minors.

Williams has been in the majors with the Yankees, Reds and Orioles with a combined slash line of .272/.309/.370 in the majors.
