Mets top OF prospect, and 2020 first round pick, Pete Crow-Armstrong will undergo shoulder surgery on his right shoulder for a GLAD (glenoid labral articular distruption) lesion.
19 year old PCA made an impressive professional debut in A league for St. Lucie, going .417/.563/.500 with 4 RBI 7 BB and 6 K and 6R in 24 AB. It is unclear as to how long he will be out and if he will miss the entire season, but I appears to be at least a couple months before he will see some baseball action again.
