News: Noah Syndergaard will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday.

Seth Lugo will do so on Tuesday.

Mets issued a correction: Syndergaard will pitch for St. Lucie on Wednesday. Lugo is also going to report to St. Lucie.

Noah Syndergaard will pitch for the St. Lucie Mets on Wednesday to begin his rehab assignment. This news couldn’t come anytime sooner.

Syndergaard can officially come off of the Injured List on May 31st.
