Syracuse Mets (2-9)

The Syracuse Mets lost 10-5 against the Worcester Red Sox, after a 4 run first by Syracuse.

Deivy Grullón homered and drove in 2 I the loss. Other RBIs came from Brandon Drury and Wilfredo Tovar. Mason Williams collected 2 hits.

Jared Eickhoff couldn’t hold the early lead the offense gave him as he allowed 5 runs over 5 innings of work. Daniel Zamora got the loss after allowing 3 runs in 1.1 inning, mainly because of 4 walks. Sam McWilliams struck out three in a scoreless frame.

Binghamton Rumble Ponies (0-10)

The Rumble Ponies just can’t catch a win after another extra inning loss. The Curve scored two after a RBI Double, scored the free runner and a passed ball scored the difference maker.

Sebastian Elizalde and Will Toffey drove in two runs. Elizalde had a chance to be the hero in the bottom of the tenth, but he grounded in a double play with two on in the tenth. Vientos struck out after the double play to end the game.

The Rumble Ponies got a terrific outing from Marcel Renteria, who struck out 5 over 3 perfect frames. Renteria is unscored upon in 7 innings, striking out 10. Gilliam allowed 2 unearned runs to score in the tenth for the loss.

Brooklyn Cyclones (4-6)

The Cyclones lost to the Drive 8-4 on Saturday, despite Jake Mangum second homerun of the year. Top prospect Mauricio went 1 for 3 in the loss.

Jaison Vilera allowed 4 runs over 4 innings, with 7 strikeouts and Bryce Montes de Oca kept impressing with 1.2 hitless innings with 3 strikeouts. De Oca reportedly hit 101 on the gun in his outing.

St. Lucie Mets (7-4)

The St. Lucie Mets completed the organization getting swept with a 5-1 loss to the Tortugas. The St. Lucie Mets collected just three hits, one from Francisco Alvarez, who returned to the lineup.

Joander Suarez allowed 3 runs (2 earned) over four innings.
