MetsJunkies MiLB Recap: Syracuse Snap Losing Streak.

Syracuse Mets (2-6)

The Syracuse Mets snapped their six game losing streak with a 4-2 victory against the Worcester Red Sox. Fraklyn Kilome got the start going 4 innings of one run ball, allowing 4 hits and 2 walks with 3 strikeouts.

Oscar de la Cruz followed with 3 strong innings of his own, allowing one run. Yansy Diaz made his Mets organizational debut with a perfect frame and a strikeout and Stephen Nogosek got the save.

Quinn Brodey got the big hit with a 2 run homerun in the third. Hager had jet another multi hit game.

Binghamton Rumble Ponies (0-7)

The Rumble Ponies dropped to 0 and 7 with a 7-2 loss to the Curve. Walter Lagrange hit a solo shot in the fourth for his first of the year.

On the pitching end the Rumble Ponies got 2 scoreless from Marcel Renteria and Riley Gilliam. Joseph Zanghi allowed 4 runs as his struggles continue.

Brooklyn Cyclones (4-3)

The Brooklyn Cyclones improved to 4 and 3 with a nail-biting 3-2 win. Jose Butto got the start and pitched 4 strong innings, allowing a run om 2 hits and 3 walks. The righty struck out 6 in his best start of his season. He also got some help from Duplantis with a stellar diving catch for a double play.

Bryce Montes de Oca kept his ERA at 0.00 pitching thru two walks with a strikeout. He reached 100mph to strikeout the final hitter of his innings.

The Mets got 11 hits in the win, 2 a piece from Duplantis and Winaker. Baty and Mauricio both collected a hit.
