Syracuse Mets (1-5)

The Syracuse Mets lost their 5th in a row to the RailRiders in an offensive barrage 15-10.

The Syracuse Mets got great offensive days from Jake Hager and Johneswhy Fargas. Hager went 4 for 4 with a RBI and a walk. The Syracuse Mets shortstop is hitting .375 with a 1048 OPS. Fargas went 3 for 5 with a 3 run homerun, as he is hitting .375 as well with a 1125 OPS in the young season.

The pitching had a hard time with Eickhoff getting the start. Eickhoff went 4 innings allowing 6 runs (5 earned). The bullpen didn’t fair better as Vizcaíno, Hildenberger, Nogosek and McWilliams allowing a combined 9 runs (8 earned) over 4.2 innings. Catcher Bruce Maxwell got the final out.

St. Lucie Mets (4-2)

The St. Lucie Mets lost to the Hammerheads 7-5. Top prospects Pete Crow-Armstrong and Francisco Alvarez stayed hot in the loss.

PCA went 3 for 5 with 2 RBIs and is now hitting. 450 with a 1143 OPS. PCA also gunned down a runner at the plate in the loss. Alvarez showed his mature approach going 1 for 2 with a double, RBI and three walks. He is hitting .529 with a crazy 1549 OPS.

Joander Suarez allowed 4 runs in 4 innings as his era stands at 6.23.
