New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor spoke to the media about his start and had this to say.
Francisco Lindor: "I don't feel like I'm in a slump. I feel like I've had quality at-bats.— Anthony DiComo (@AnthonyDiComo) April 28, 2021
"A slump for me is when I'm 0-for-35, 0-for-30. That for me is a slump, that's like I'm not doing anything to help the team, I'm not giving my absolute best at-bats to help the team."
He also gave his thoughts on the boo’s going around at Citi Field.
Francisco Lindor on being booed at Citi Field: "It's interesting and it's funny and it sucks. It doesn't feel right for sure. Interesting because it's the first time it's happened in my career. … I get it. They're booing because they expect results. I expect results."— Anthony DiComo (@AnthonyDiComo) April 28, 2021
Lindor is currently hitting .212 with one home run and three RBI’s in 66 at-bats, so far.
