Saturday’s Pitching Preview 4/10

After a game in which the Mets won (controversially) by coming back in their half of the ninth inning, the team is well-rested and ready to go. Of course the Mets would love to start their first winning streak of the year, and I’m sure they’d just as much love to get deGrom a win.

On route to claim his third Cy Young award, deGrom started the year in stellar fashion. Against the Phillies, he tossed six innings in which he struck out seven and of course, getting the no-decision.

The Miami Marlins will have lefty Trevor Rogers on the mound, making just the ninth start of his career. Rogers threw four innings against the St. Louis Cardinals and gave up two hits and two earned runs, getting stuck with the loss.

First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 PM EST and will be televised locally on SNY, as well as being featured as the free game on the MLB app.
