After a tough blow late in the game last night against the Phillies, the Mets and Marcus Stroman look to get in the win column. However, they must first get past Bryce Harper and J.T. Realmuto, in order to do so.

The Phillies plan to send Chase Anderson to the hill and he’ll likely have a tough time doing so. Anderson owns a career ERA of 4.06 in 890.2 innings pitched, however last season he pitched to a 7.22 ERA.
While Marcus Stroman is a better quality pitcher, he also doesn’t have to deal with stacked lineup like Anderson.

Throughout his career, Stroman has a 3.76 ERA in 849.1 innings pitched. While many seem to dismiss the righty, he’s clearly a talented pitcher that knows how to utilize the amount of spin he uses.
Tonight’s contest will be scheduled for 7:05 PM EST and will be televised locally on SNY as well as nationally on ESPN.
