Nationals Sign LHP Brad Hand

Throughout his career, Hand has appeared in 396 games while putting up a 3.65 ERA and has struck out 624 batters in 608.2 innings pitched.

Hand actually led the league in saves this past season with 16 and posted a 2.05 ERA in the process.

The Mets could still use a left handed pitcher to join Edwin Diaz, Seth Lugo, Juerys Familia, Trevor May, and Dellin Betances in the Mets bullpen. Other names that could make the pen include Miguel Castro, Brad Brach, Drew Smith. All right-handers.
