According to Ken Rosenthal the Mets have signed free agent infielder Brandon Drury to a minor league deal. He last year with the Diamondbacks was the first with Porter.

Drury hasn’t been good in the majors as he has collected a -1.3 career WAR over 456 games. His last two seasons, he played 141 games for the Blue Jays. Over those games he had a .614 OPS. He has played all infield spot and corner outfield spots in the majors, so flexibility is a major plus.
In 2019 he did have a plus 6 OAA at third baseman, which he will provide some depth at that position. Overall Drury will be and should be AAA depth and we should hope he isn’t needed.
