Time is ticking for the Japanese righty as his deadline is approaching. Sugano has until Thursday 5PM to sign a new contract with a MLB club. The Yomiuri Giants are at least trying to keep him in Japan with a new offer.

The Yomiuri Giants have offered Sugano a 4 year contract with 3 opt-out to let him try to sign with a MLB Club in the coming years. Ken Rosenthal also reported numerous offers from a MLB Squad which provides more money for the righty.

A decision could be reported any day at any time right now, as the deadline creeps closer and closer. Jon Heyman reported that the decision will probably come as soon as tomorrow!!
