2020 was an amazing and very productive year for Michael Conforto. Here’s a look at his expected 2021 stats and what’s in store for him this upcoming season.
Conforto shined in 2020, during the COVID-19 shortened season. He hit 9 home runs and 31 batted in with a .322 batting average and a .412 OBP.
Conforto may see a breakout year in 2021. He was arguably the Mets’ best player in 2020.

Here’s what Rotochamp has projected for Conforto in 2021, they have him hitting 29 home runs and 86 RBI’s while owning a .269 batting average and a .369 OBP.
I personally think he will outdo those predictions. I believe he will hit 31 home runs and drove in 93 while owning a .280 batting average and a .373 OBP.
Conforto is a solid player and the Mets do need to create a new deal with him this off-season. I think the sky is the limit for the star outfielder, and should he stay healthy he will see a breakout year this season.
Conforto is the heart of the team. It’s only up from here with him.
