Thursday’s lineup vs Marlins

The New York Mets will finally make the move to push Seth Lugo to the starting rotation for Thursday’s matchup against the Miami Marlins. So far this season, Lugo is 1-2 with a 2.61 ERA in 10.1 innings pitched.

Lugo as started in 31 games throughout his career and owns an ERA of 4.06 while striking out 138 batters in 168.1 innings pitched. His ERA as a reliever sits at 2.53 in 129 appearances out of the bullpen.

The Marlins will send rookie left-hander Daniel Castano to the hill to take on our boys in Orange & Blue. Castano owns a career ERA of 4.35 and has struck out six in 10.1 innings. Tonight’s appearance will be his third major league start.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:10 P.M. EST and will hosted by the Marlins at Marlins Park in Miami, Florida. The game will be televised nationally on MLB Network as well as locally in New York and Florida on SNY and FSFL.
