“It’s very hard right now to be here,” Wilson Ramos said. “It’s hard to see my teammates and be away from them. That’s the hard part with all those protocols… But at the same time, I’m very happy to be here, doing what we love to do. I missed this. Missed being at the field.”
The New York Mets partook in three separate workouts today, dividing the players up into groups. This new routine is being practiced due to social distancing and other safety measures.
While Ramos said that he preferred for his family to not travel with him to New York City, he’s confident in a 2020 60-game season being played out.
