Rick Porcello went 4.2 innings while giving up two earned runs on nine hits, 0 BB, and 1 K. He was also able to get the Astros to ground into three double plays, and currently owns a 2.53 ERA this Spring.

This outing should definitely help Porcello’s chances on making the rotation once the season starts… as well as his $10M contract. However till now, Porcello has definitely looked sharp during this Spring Training and so has the rest of the starters.
