New York Mets star pitcher Noah Syndergaard took the mound against the Miami Marlins on Tuesday morning in an exhibition game at Clover Park.
The tall right hander pitched three innings in which he gave up three runs, two of which were earned and also struck out five batters while giving up just two hits.
Syndergaard has now pitched in two games and has accumulated five innings so far this spring as he looks to get ready for the upcoming 2020 campaign.
The Mets would lose 6-1 however Jeff McNeil lead the game off with his first home run of the spring. The home run came off of Marlins starting pitcher Jordan Yamamoto.
Jeurys Familia pitched a perfect inning while striking a batter out.
Brad Brach and Paul Sewald each pitched a scoreless inning, as well. Brach gave up a hit and struck out one in his inning.
Infielder Max Moroff continues to hit during these exhibition games as the 26 year old went 1-1 after replacing Robinson Cano.
