Jeff McNeil has hit his 23rd home run against Luis Castillo and the Cincinnati Reds at the Great American Ball Park. The home run has given the Mets the 1-0 lead over the reds as McNeil continues to click with Chili Davis during this power surge of the 2019 season.

McNeil hits just three home runs in 2018 and has seen a vast surge of improvement in the power department since the hiring of Mets hitting coach Chili Davis. Davis had suggested to McNeil to stand more upright in the batters box to provide extra power in his swing, it looks like the advice is working.
