Mets activate Robinson Canó

The New York Mets have activated veteran second baseman Robinson Canó after tearing his hamstring.

The Mets second baseman was starting to go on a bit of a tear before the injury as he was hitting .333/.355/.567 with a home run in his previous seven games. Canó has 325 at-bats this season and is hitting .252/.295/.415/.710 with 23 doubles, ten home runs as well as 37 runs scored and 32 RBI’s in 86 games.
