Noah Syndergaard on Trade Deadline

I don’t know about you but there were points where I was looking at Syndergaard, specifically in the dugout while in “meditation mode”, and it felt like the same vulnerable kid that came up as a rookie.

All that being said, the Texas born right hander pitched 7.1 innings while giving up five hits and striking out 11 White Sox batters. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to walk away with the win however his superb effort will not go unnoticed.

After the game reporters asked Syndergaard on what he thinks his fate will be before game time tomorrow, the outspoken pitcher said, “I don’t think I am going anywhere.”

When asked if it was getting bothersome about hearing his name in rumors, Noah replied “It’s kind of old” with a smile, of course this isn’t the first…or second time that Syndergaard has heard these claims at this time of the year.

Syndergaard will be in a New York Mets uniform come game time tomorrow, now the question is will Zack Wheeler and possibly others be joining him in the dugout?
