The Mets have traded the recently DFA’d Wilmer Font up north to the Toronto Blue Jays. The Jays will send the Mets “Cash Considerations”.

The 29-year old Font has a 5.20 ERA in his 45 innings pitched and 25 games. However, the righty had a 2.77 ERA in the month of June.
