Mets rookie sensation Pete Alonso has won the Home Run Derby as well as one million dollars. Alonso will donate 10% to two different charities. Alonso hit 23 home runs in the final round and hit a total of 57.

He earned some boo’s in the first round as he eliminated hometown favorite Carlos Santana. Of course, it was all in good fun. No harm, no foul.

He outdid Atlanta Brave phenom Ronald Acuna jr. in the semi-finals by a single home run.
