The Phillies and Mets will square off at Citi Field tonight with Jake Arrieta on the hill for the Phillies. Arrieta is 8-6 with a 4.43 ERA, a 1.42 WHIP and 81 strikeouts in 103.2 innings pitched. He’s been pitching to a 6.15 ERA during the stretch of his last six starts.

Noah Syndergaard takes the mound for the Mets and I’m sure he’s looking to end this first half on a bright note. Currently, Syndergaard is 5-4 with a 4.56 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 98 strikeouts in 100.2 innings pitched.
