Obviously after being named to the National League All-Star team, reporters had some questions for Jeff and here are a couple of quotes on him making the All-Star team and how long he’s come.
“This time last year, I was getting the call-up to Triple-A, so to see how far it’s comes, it’s pretty exciting. It’s a dream come true.”
“Me and Pete were named Double-A All-Stars last year, so with Pete, to come all the way through the system with him, it’s pretty exciting and he’s having a tremendous year as well.”
He added that his defense has come a long way and that being more of a consistent player has attributed to his success.
